Sensei Bob Goodwin
Sensei began Martial Arts training in the mid 1960's studying
Judo. During the 1970's he was introduced to Jeet Kune Do, Karate
and Boxing while in the service. In the 1980's, Sensei began the
study of the grappling arts.
Sensei had been the webmaster for the USMA for many years, and now acts in the same
capacity for the SMAA.
In the past, Sensei has served as Co-Director for the USMA
International Hall of Fame, Director for the USMA
International Training Camp, and as a Fighting and Forms
tournament referee and judge. Sensei has also instructed
both seniors and juniors at the Training
Camps over the last several years.
When not involved in the Martial Arts, Sensei enjoys riding his motorcycles,
PWC's and spending quality time with
his family. He is also a member of his Church's Praise & Worship team
playing his bass with them.

Sensei has studied with many of the top instructors in the
country such as O-Sensei Phil Porter, Donn Schucker, Bill Wallace,
Steve Silvey, Will Higginbotham,
Frank Corbo and many many others.
