Rank Registration Fees
The rank registration fee is paid to register an existing rank that you already hold. The
promotion fee is only paid when:
1.When a club instructor, club leader, or other individual (who does not have
an instructor of his own or other source for rank evaluation) is
promoted by the SMAA
2.When a club instructor or club leader is not of sufficient rank to promote his
own students to the next rank, therefore requiring that the SMAA make the
promotion
3.When an individual is promoted to the rank of 10th degree
In all other circumstances, the registration fee is paid instead of the promotion fee.
Martial arts promotion fees are:
| Rank registration for all kyu, gup, class ranks below black belt |
