SMAA Leaders
SMAA President & Executive Director:

Responsibilities: Oversee and lead
the operations of the association in the most positive direction possible.
Appoint and train dedicated individuals for key positions in the
association.
SMAA Vice President & Administrator:
Kim Schucker
Responsibilities: Oversee the
processing of all association paperwork, registrations, promotions,
certifications, etc. Establish and maintain a working database record for
each SMAA member.
SMAA Webmaster:
Bob Goodwin
Responsibilities: Maintain the
website for the association. Make updates and modifications as necessary.
SMAA Martial Arts Training Camp Director
John Georgevitch
Responsibilities: Recruit instructors, establish martial arts training schedule, and oversee
training at annual training camp.
SMAA Law Enforcement Training Camp
Director:
Steve Jimerfield
Responsibilities: recruit instructors, establish law enforcement training schedule, and oversee law
enforcement training at annual training camp.
SMAA Awards Dinner Director:
Tom Belt
Responsibilities: Recruit assistants, establish award approval committee, secure awards, and oversee operations
at annual Awards Dinner.
SMAA Promotion Board Chairman:
Dave Lewis
Responsibilities: Work with those that wish to arrange a live test to schedule and facilitate their
evaluation at annual training camp once a year or by video at other times of the year.
SMAA Chaplain:
John Sutton
Responsibilities: Oversee and lead the spiritual direction of the
association
SMAA Yudansha Taigu:

Responsibilities: SMAA Yudansha Taigu (international senior leaders of
the martial arts) is authorized to make promotions, certifications, etc.
as they see fit within the association.
